Sawada Seiko Memorial Museum
The museum of Sawada Seiko (1894-1988), a great artist and recipient of the Order of Culture in Atami, exhibits most of his works including woodcarvings, paintings, lithographs, etc.
Oh-yu Kanketsusen
"Oh-yu Geyser" (which means big hot-spring) was an ancient, world-famous natural geyser. Hot springs in Atami have a long history. Tokugawa Ieyasu, Japan's most famous Shogun, (1543-1616) was quite fond of Atami's hot-springs.
Geigi Kenban
"Geigi Kennban" is a Geisha dance theater which is reminiscent of the Showa era. Dance performances called "Hananomai" are given every weekend.
Atami Baien
Atami Baien, which was opened in 1886, has more than 700 plum trees including some over 100 years old. The blossoms of the plum trees start blooming in December, earlier than in other areas of Japan. You can enjoy many different aspects of the park in any season. The autumn leaves are wonderful as well.

"Shimizu-cho's Dashi" was completed in 1961, by Morita Toukou, who lived in Usami, Ito City. Designs of cravings are "Dragons" as a base, "Bush warbler on Ume (Japanese apricot and symbolic blossoms of Atami)".
